Online methods
To reduce burdens on respondents, the two modern online reporting methods IDEV and .CORE are available. Businesses and authorities can use them to efficiently transmit their statistical data to the statistical offices online via the internet.
IDEV stands for internet-based data collection of the statistical offices of the Federation and the Länder and allows form-based input of data and uploading of files. The IDEV online reporting method has jointly been developed by the statistical offices of the Federation and the Länder. Further information, also the technical requirements, are described in our leaflet, more detailed in our online-help.
.CORE stands for »Common Online Rawdata Entry« and supports automated retrieval of statistical raw data from the internal data available at enterprises and authorities and their transmission to the central online data portal without switches between media. The .CORE online reporting method has been developed by the statistical offices of the Federation and the Länder in co-operation with the AWV (Association for economical administration) and reputable software producers. Using IDEV and .CORE requires user ID and password.
In the case of IDEV, these are statistics-specific codes which are sent to you for nearly all statistics together with the survey documents. For intra-Community trade statistics, you can register online for that service. If you wish to test IDEV, please use the guest access available for the purpose.
For any data to be transmitted via .CORE, you will get your access information after one-time online registration. You may use that information, irrespective of the statistics, for your enterprise and the local units for which you wish to transmit data.
